Angela Rayner: I will stand down if I’ve damaged the regulation

Labour’s deputy chief Angela Rayner says she’s going to step down if she is discovered to have damaged the regulation.

In a press release, she stated she was “utterly assured I’ve adopted the principles always”.

She has been accused of giving false details about her foremost residence in a row about who lived in her former council home.

Larger Manchester Police (GMP) are investigating whether or not any crimes have been dedicated.

In a press release launched by the Labour Celebration, Ms Rayner stated: “If I dedicated a prison offence, I might in fact do the correct factor and step down.

“The British public deserves politicians who know the principles apply to them.”
